Veteran's United came to the rescue. The other finance group I was originally using got tied up in the VA loan process and the madness that was March2020 and the start of the pandemic. Veteran's United were the polar opposite. Rob and his team gave me clear goals to improve my credit, navigate the VA loan process, and get the best loan for me. Without them, I'm not sure I would have my own home today. If you are planning on using a VA loan, they are the superior choice.
The only issue I had was a friend buying a house in the same town at the same time was able to do a lock at a longer time than me with the same rates.Overall the experience was good and being able to do everything through my phone or a computer was extremely helpful and convenient.

There were a lot of very last minute things that came up which at first stressed me out (even as late as three days before closing) but literally every friend I spoken to about it said that was entirely normal for a home purchase.
