The whole process with Veterans United with very smoothly and everyone was very helpful along the way. Jeremy was very helpful and professional, and always answered my call and any questions I may have had. JD who also on his team, was also quite helpful. Anytime I called JD he was knowledge about the process and where we stood in the process. All documents were easy to upload, and equally easily presented to us for signatures. Another nice touch was being contacted by Brock Bondurant (Veterans United Concierge) about products and services we may need. Although we did not utilize any, it was nice knowing about different services out there, which can save you some time.

Ms. Cara Belcher was also excellent to work with, both over the phone and email. She ensured that I always knew where we were in the process and how I was doing. Veterans United is an outstanding organization with true professionals. This is the only company I would recommend to both active duty and veterans when it comes to home buying.

I am happy I made the choice to go with Veterans United Home Loans, it took a huge weight off my shoulder knowing I'm not drowning in a mortgage for the next 15-20 years

Too many last minute Closing Disclosures (CD). We were supposed to close at 2 PM on 13 Nov. At 2:09 PM, I received a phone call from someone with the Closing Dept. to verify that I was alive & had signed a Power of Attorney granting my wife permission to sign on behalf as I was unable to physically attend closing. On a whim, I logged into Veterans United's website and discovered I was requested to review yet another CD at 2:05 PM. Why no one could be bothered to pick up a phone & call is beyond me. Technology is a wonderful thing, but the process is overly reliant on email. Had I not bothered to check my email at 2:15 PM, I would have never known an action on my part was required. What would have happened if my email was down for some reason? As it turns out the Final CD was provided to our lawyer sufficiently late on 13 Nov that the sale could not be filed with MA on that date & the house did not become legally ours until 16 Nov. Why was I requested to review a CD at approx. 10:45 AM (which I did approx. an hour later when I happened to check my email) and then again at 2:05 PM? Reliance on email is fine before the closing date but on the actual day of closing someone needs to pick a phone and call the borrower if time-sensitive actions are required.

We have worked with other companies in the past but decided to try Veterans United, and we couldn’t be happier. The entire process was smooth and the website made it so easy to navigate through each step, we were surprised how quickly it went. Our loan officer was always very helpful, available through text, email, phone call whenever we had questions. It definitely made our refinance stress free. We will definitely be recommending Veterans United to others. Thank you!
