Make sure you have copies of everything before you get started, pay stubs, bank statements, taxes, any loans you have, 401k, ect. They are great to work with.

My Loan Officer was with me through every step... explaining the process, answering all my questions, always responded to my emails same day and he was easily accessible. I could reach him via phone, no problems. They even sent multiple packets throughout the process which contained VERY helpful info. I'm thankful!
For doing everything online it was a great experience. There is part of me that still likes to have a person and a handshake but the team at Veteran's United were professional and helped our home buying experience go through smoothly and quickly.

They have a list of realtors they can refer you to so that you are working with someone in your area who knows the area and is experienced with a VA loan. This helps so that when you go to look at a house they can tell you this won’t pass inspection or this will pass inspection to help narrow down your choices so that you are not wasting your time.
