The entire process was seamless. Easiest VA loan we have ever done! The online system made uploading documents from my phone a breeze! Any questions I had were answered promptly by members of their team. Even the appraisal company they used was quick and efficient! The entire loan process from pre- approval to final underwriting/ cleared to close was completed in less than 30 days! I would definitely use Veterans United again!

Our first time buying a home our experience was amazing. 2012Our loan officer made us feel like we were the only clients he had. Refinance that house amazing. 2013Second house the process was late. 21 days late. Cost us 2100 dollars for being late. 2015This time we refinance our house. With cash back... it took way toooooo long, 2 months. 2019Someone screwed up our paperwork did not get funded until a week after signing which normally would only be 3 days.

I use to be a mortgage broker about 10 years ago, so I was very skeptical. However, I found that my loan officer, Aaron was very honest, upfront and fast. My loan processor, who processed all the paperwork, was also was very good. The best thing about Veterans United Home Loans is that they "specialize" in veteran home loans. They are on board with "all" the banks out there that offer veteran loan programs. Because of their experience in processing so many loans, as a veteran, they can find you a better rate, or find you a bank who may accept your circumstances even if your not the perfect loan candidate. I am impressed because I'm self employed, and I ended up with a better rate then I expected.
I tried to purchase a home using another mortgage company... The experience with those people almost turned me off from trying again. Using vu changed my whole prospective on the home buying experience.
All in all, Veterans United made the home buying process quite easy. As first time home buyers, it was nice to have people that explained every step of the process. Between the realtor and the loan officer - we were blessed to have such a smooth purchase. We are so thankful for the hard work that Amber and Kelly put in for our benefit!
