Overall a pleasant experience. I think the underwriters leave a little to be desired as they sometimes don't show the urgency and motivation that the loan officer does.Knowing the most upto date rules would be helpful and waiting until the last minute to spring surprises on borrowers is probably not a really good idea.

Overall our experience was very positive. Being first time home buyers out of state we were worried about buying a home without being there in person. Our real estate agent was very helpful in providing tours and finding the home for us. Providing documentation was very smooth and easy to use and we were able to stay on top of the process throughout. I was pleasantly surprised that we were able to purchase a home out of state with very little hassle.
