They have a very helpful website and portal for filing documents and communicating with you but that doesn’t mean that you will never hear from your loan team. Ours communicated with us weekly and in some instances daily. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. They made the whole experience about as easy as I could imagine it being.
Veterans United Home Loans gave Sue & I a really great rate. They explained the process and time lines and reasoning for covering all their bases, and because we follow their instructions was able to close ahead of time. The staff there were friendly, very helpful & informative!

My experience was very interesting. I had to deal with old taxes - paid in full, awaiting pay raise to qualify for the loan and underwriting every little nitpicking detail. I honestly thought about pulling out during this 4 month ordeal and even contacted my local mortgage person. The mortgage company offered a better deal and already had my info on file..However, a few years ago when I initially communicated with Matt, he told me what I needed to do to qualify for a mortgage. I spent 2 years working on my credit and when I was ready - reached out to Matt. Based upon that conversation with Matt and talking to him throughout the years, I trusted his opinion.My experience wasn't as smoothed as I'd hoped for but it was a journey.
