I received notice that I needed a second form of proof for my 2 year work experience months after turning in my first form of proof through W-2s. By the time I found out I needed a college transcript for my second form of proof, I was a week from closing and didn’t have time to get the transcript in before the closing date. The months worth of delay in asking for a second form of proof for my 2 year employment cost me hundreds of dollars in extended closing costs. That was the only problem I ran into, everything else was phenomenal.
The O’Fallon SAFB team is awesome. I would recommend them over and over again.
Working with veterans United was a great experience . I felt like they wanted what was best for me and my family. Made me feel proud to be a veteran.
This is my second house I’ve purchased and the first I’ve purchased with Veterans United. I would say this process was hands down the easiest and the most personal. Billy and his team were great.Every time I called Veterans United they responded immediately. They even gave me a lower rate after the rates fell and that was awesome. A slightly lower rate saved me over 20k for the entire term if my loanI know there are many Banks out there but none are as personal and helpful as veterans United.

Great Company. Great experience. Great results. From beginning to end, the entire team worked hard to make this happen. Thankful for everything. I believe you will be as well.
I will recommend Veterans United Home Loans to my fellow Veterans. The overall experience for me was very positive and I felt I was kept in the loop by my loan specialist throughout the entire process. Thank you, Veterans United Home Loans for helping me turn my dream of home ownership into a reality.
Thank you all for helping us get into our new location. This was the easiest part of our move!
Would definitely work with them again
I was not even sure if I qualified for a VA loan. I had never tried to use a VA loan in my past, so I wasn't sure what to expect. After a quick phone call with a Veterans United, I realized it was a very good possibility. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I have made in a long time. Thanks to the help from Veterans United, I was able to refinance my home, get a much lower interest rate and with no closing cost to me. This has helped me and my family improve our finances in many ways. I would highly recommend Veterans United to anyone looking to buy or refinance a home.

Terry and his team did an outstanding job servicing my loan. They were professional, and understanding of my naiveté regarding the steps involved in buying a home making sure I understood everything as we went through the process. Checking my eligibility and getting me preapproved was simple and quick—even when I needed a larger preapproved amount. The one thing that impressed me was the speed at which Terry and his team accomplished things. From initial application to preapproval, it took only minutes to complete. Of course, the other steps in obtaining the loan took a bit longer but during the whole time, they were communicative about where I was in the mortgage process and accessible when I had questions. The checklists they provided were extremely helpful in keeping me on point as most of the time they were waiting on my response so that they could move forward with funding my loan.Whether this is your tenth or first time buying a house I would highly recommend using Veterans United as your mortgage source. I guess the highest recommendation I can make is to say that when the time comes to refinance or buy a different I home I plan to use them again.
This an exceptional company and I recommend it to all our veterans.
My experience with Veterans United was outstanding. Communication was on point and they helped make this process a lot easier than the normal process!
