VU should provide more education on how the va loan prior to works i.e. budgeting, understanding credit score, so that more veterans go into the process with the confidence they need to purchase a home.
Everything seemed to go very well as far as our loan team being knowledgeable. However, my wife and I felt completely out of the loop throughout the entire process. It was rare for us to hear from anybody unless we called them and sometimes we would have to call multiple times to get a response. Our “main point of contact” seemed to constantly change. There were four different people that were suppose to be our main point of contact. But other than communication, everything went pretty well.
Wonderful people to help with every step of selling and buying a home! Wish I had know about Veterans United when we bought our first home!! Wonderful experience.
