My loan team and the credit consultant with the lighthouse program were both great! Tyler, Neisha and Terri really took great care of us during this process. Take my word for it, this is the team to go through. I honestly didn’t even think I’d get approved. I had years of rough credit in the past but they were able to give me the steps I needed to take and close on our home! And we didn’t close on the original closing date, we closed a day early! They really handled everything from start to finish and things just went as smooth as they could. Again let me state this for those on the fence; my wife and I just wanted “to see what we needed to do to get ourselves a home”, we put in the application and here we are 1 month later with our own home. The process was very intuitive in nature and the online checklist laid out what exactly you needed to have completed and where you was at in the loan process. If you show initiative and have all the documents ready to go for upload on the checklist then it will make the whole experience go that much smoother.

There are a LOT of documents that had to be submitted before obtaining the loan. I'm sure it is "procedure", but at times it can be overwhelming. In the end...It was worth it.
