From the very beginning Veterans United kept me informed of what forms I needed through the To Do process. If one doesn’t know what form is needed, just ask, the staff assigned to you would let you know. Obtaining a home loan with VU was a pleasant experience. The senior loan officer & his team made my loan process easier. Go with VU, an applicant will feel at ease.

To be successful with Veteran united, homebuyers should request for instate advisers who are familiar with the process of obtaining a loan in that particular state since state laws vary. The lender veteran united should be in close communication with both agents , seller and buyer agents when need be for a better harmonized process.

I was really glad to have picked Veterans United as my home loan Mortgage company. The staff were professional, friendly and gave me personal attention during the entire loan process. Communication was excellent and very concise- any and all questions I had along the way were handled quickly and made me feel as the staff really cared about me getting my loan. I can't say enough good things about the people I dealt with- Asli Wissmann, in particular was patient and very personable the entire time. She even surprised me by calling me to answer a question I had, while she was on her vacation! That demonstrated to me a level of dedication not normally found in a company. Thank you Veterans United. I'm glad to refer you to friends and family for their future mortgage needs!

We went 2 weeks past our official close date because someone waited until the last minute to do the title search. I would recommend doing that in the very beginning in case you run into problems like mine. Other than the title search being done late, I could barely get ahold of anyone on my team to give me a quick answer about certain concerns. Leah was always professional and courteous, but getting a response seemed like pulling teeth at some times. I think Veterans United shouldn’t give them so many cases to work on at the same time and maybe then it would’ve been a much better personal experience. I would recommend going with a local lender so you know you can speak with someone because you can go to the bank anytime.
