What happened happened the situation for me was very stressful but in the end I got the home and the loan so that's good. As a manger and former project engineer this is something easily fixed and and as this may be obvious I still offer my advise for future veterans sake.1. Communicate verbally and email to your customer your leaving for will not be able to communicate for whatever period of time.
2. Set up a plan for another licensed loan officer to take over in your absence. Have that person call customer to firm up the take over plan.
3. Never ever trust that someone else in your organization will manage your customer the way that you would or should. That being said make sure #1 nd 2 are done before and after you leave.

I would certainly recommend Veterans. James was great. I finally got to meet him at the closing and it seemed like we knew each other for a long time. I have been in the Customer Service field for several years and have built many great relationships. I feel he did the same with me. Hopefully we can still stay in touch in the future.
