I had a phenomenal experience working with Veterans United. As a veteran leaving active duty, the transition is scary and nerve-wrecking and VU & they staff helped address any concerns or worries I had. VU is honestly the BEST, and I love that they take care of those who served our Country. Will ABSOLUTELY recommend to anyone I know looking for a mortgage lender.
I don't know what the hold up on funding was for the day of closing, it seemed to me it should have been ready to go well before closing. They reasoning I was told was that my employment verification was done day of closing, which doesn't make any sense because I had submitted job offers and even pay stubs leading up to closing, so that reasoning seemed WILD to me. I was very irritated, the seller(s), and the title company were getting upset with ME because my funding from VU hadn't gone through. It was NOT a pleasant experience for me sitting in the office for hours holding up everyone else as they impatiently stared at me and kept asking me the status.
The process was great and everyone assign to our team was great. We were helped throughout the whole process and were always available to answer our questions.
I recommend using vetetans home loans. They buying a home very easy.
