Veterans United was easy to work with and helped me purchase a home even while I was deployed. Being deployed came with its challenges but Veterans United was helpful in solving them and getting me to closing. They also have tons of informational videos to answer any questions.

Veterans United will be the anchor - the rock - that maintains your excitement in buying a home. Home buying, to me, was an experience that could have been ripped from the script of Dante's Inferno, somewhere near Limbo. There was so much uncertainty, but Veterans United personnel, like Chad, Ryan, and others which were equally helpful, assured me that the train was on the tracks, and headed in the right direction. Heaping praise on them is nice, but what is truly important is to know that they are highly trained, and very good at their jobs! Trusting them is all that I needed to do in order for the weight of the experience to be lifted from my shoulders, and for joy to be the dominate force.When Veterans United pairs you with a professional, that person is there to serve veterans like like you, me, and in at least one case, their selves. This is our second experience with VU and both have been excellent.
It's a long process they are going to ask you for everything. Have your w2' ready and make sure you cleared your payroll check with your bank at least once because they have to verify that your company is paying you.

Very easy process, just call them and they get the ball rolling. Basically, all you have to do, if qualified, is pick a house in your price range and they do the rest.
The first 15 days after locking in my rate was great. However, when it came closer to closing I was constantly given nebulous responses to specific questions. The last four days before closing can only be described as infuriating. My loan team avoided calls, texts, and emails from myself, my realtor, and the title company. I had to call and speak to an operator just to get a response from loan "specialist." I will never finance with or recommend Veterans United to anyone after our experience. We had our paperwork extremely late and had to jump through hoops to close on time. Additionally, the closing disclosure was incorrect and I did not have time for them to fix their mistake, which they knew to be a mistake but failed to QC their work. I honestly feel like we received excellent service until we locked in a rate, then were ignored so they could poach more clients.If they do post this all I can say is to go somewhere else.

At different times during the loan process, things came up that looked insurmountable yet our loan officer, Zachary Roberts turned it all into plain english I could understand and basically held my hand through the particular part of the process.until i got through it. He was wonderful! All other associates we had contact with, though a shorter amount of time, were wonderful, very helpful!
Customer Service was outstanding. They kept us informed through the whole process from start to finish. A+ for the team! I would highly recommend them to anyone.
I had Dave and Kari for the financing on my house. I was warned by friends about how much getting a VA loan could be a nightmare with how strict they can be and to make it worse I did it without any realtors. Dave and Kari made life 10x easier by answering every question I had and making the journey of getting everything I needed done a whole lot easier. I’m pretty sure I called a couple times a day everyday to Kari just to be sure I had things done right and wasn’t missing anything. I’m pretty sure at one point I asked her if she was tired of seeing my name pop up on her phone yet and she assured me she wasn’t annoyed yet. I enjoyed being able to talk to the same two easy going people all the time versus just anyone who answered the phone.
I’m extremely happy and feel so much joy in my heart that I finally was able to make a dream come true of being a homeowner!! Thank you soooo much!!
