The Veterans United team was beyond reproach or question. I have nothing but good to say about them. The underwriter used, however, was a different matter entirely. This person asked questions and required information that had no bearing whatsoever on the matter at hand; in short, they were nothing more than an overly-nosey pest. Once again, I must stress this has nothing whatsoever to do with my opinion of the VU team.

Even though I paid less, I would have paid more to work with Verterans United. There are not enough words to describe how fantastic everything was. Our loan specialist Scott Ratliff was awesome! Could call anytime my wife or I had a question. Very friendly, never got frustrated, and was always available. Weekends, nights, early mornings, whenever!!!! He went above and beyond! I was really amazed at how engaged he and his team were. We felt that Scott and Kelly really cared and never did we feel like we were just another loan number. Even my realtor said she was pleasantly surprised with the ease of working with Veterans United and Scott. Mr. Stephen Erickson loan specialist was exceptional to work with and goes out of his way to make sure everything is good to go but we experienced several demands from the loan company to the point of frustration daily. There may be other loan specialist that work as hard as he does, that would be the only reason I would go with Veterans United. I bet I signed and sent requested forms no less that 5 times each (unbelievable)
