The loan process was pretty good. The closing was very frustrating. My closing got pushed back a couple times due to more documents being required the day before my expected closing. When I finally got to the actual closing of my new home they had not yet received my closing documents. Therefore I could not close, luckily I was able to get ahold of someone an hour or so later and got the documents sent that I needed. At that point I found out my closing costs were $2,000 more than I was told. After all the closing documents were signed the funding was held apparently because my employment needed to be verified (which makes sense but I felt that should of been done before my closing not after). My closing took about 5 hours to complete.

I liked how they walked me through the process. I knew exactly where my money was going. They always answered my questions!

Would be great if we were given ALL the paper work ahead of time to sign and adjust if needed as you went along. I did feel like my realtor was pushing me to close so he could get paid instead of working out the issues we ran across. Felt like he was working for the other guys and not for me. And at times I felt bullied or pressured into making decisions.

I would highly recommend Veterans United Home Loans. Everyone was professional and willing to do what ever was necessary to get me to close on the date I needed. They are all OUTSTANDING!!

Scott Miller was the most determined and helpful professional I have ever has the pleasure to work with. His work ethic, accessibility, and communication skills are second to none. I was very impressed and our experience buying our home was substantially less stressful than it could have been because of Scott Miller. We are very grateful for the work he did on our behalf.

Veterans United made the entire home buying process easy and stress free from helping me fix my credit to closing on our new home.

I would be on the fence about recomending your services. Although I did at the end get the loan, the stress and fustration seemed unnecessary.

Very friendly, easy to get a hold of and it was such a smooth closing.

Clint Hamilton is the best loan officer I have ever had the opportunity of working with. I think Paul Williams should have been introduced earlier in the process.

VUHL is an excellent company. Everyone there would contact me directly in a very pleasant and casual manner. Explained everything in a very easy to understand manner.

I had disclosed from day 1 that I needed the process to be expedited and was assured it would be. In the end, they hit the same time frame that have average for all closings.

I don't think it is necessary to keep sending me mail advertisements while I am in the loan approval/close process.
