The market was timed incorrectly and I ended up with a 6.75% interest rate when it was 6.25 - 6.50% for weeks leading up to the close. I wished it would’ve been locked in during that time.

The whole VU team was amazing from the very beginning. I was petrified of purchasing my first home on my own, but they made it so easy and were there throughout every step. The only negative was the utilities. The portal said our electric was through one company but when we called, they didn't service us. Spent a lot of time calling around trying to figure that out. Had trouble finding internet provider too. But otherwise excellent experience!
