I would recommend however, the lack of communication between your team and us almost ended in a no deal. Had there been better communication we might have been dealing with this much differently. Perhaps people with better understanding of the region? We were tasked with to do’s that in some cases were absolutely ludicrous. The person we dealt with was from Missouri. We bought in Alaska. We ended up doing things Missouri wise so now we have to deal with Alaska issues. That mega thousand dollar fee at the end was absolutely ridiculous and we will never do that again. It may be generational as well. Having someone attempt to step in and handle our debts was literally enraging. Especially since we had no idea it was coming. We handle our own debt. If you have to say no deal, we are mature enough to understand and just drop it. We get the meaning of no. Based on that alone I don't think I can, in good conscious recommend VU to anyone of my generation.

This is my second time working with Veterans United and it has been a 10/10 positive experience two times in a row. The first time my initial loan company fell through when it was time to make an offer and Jeanette came through to save the day after being recommended by my real estate agent for my first go around.My second go around I had Tory Tuttle who was extremely informative, professional, and always radiated positive energy. I already came in wanting to purchase a property and Tory was essential in ensuring I had done my due diligence when it came to rates, purchase price vs. income, and weighing my relevant financial factors before making the final decision.Tory worked all days of the week to ensure I had everything I needed and that all documents were received and sent in my convenience in time for closing with zero delays. She even caught minor clerical errors in the contract between the seller and myself.10/10 would want Tory again as a loan officer!
Everyone we worked with, spoke to .. whether just a quick question or needing clarification on something or changing something all together was absolutely phenomenal. Great attitudes never made you feel like you were a bother or your question was irrelevant. 100% would recommend to anyone for their home buying needs.

It was a hard road to climb with a bad mark recently on my credit and 2 job changes through the union. But Veterans United stayed with me the whole way giving me the encouragement to keep going. And in the end, I got the home I needed to take care of my ill wife with room to grow. I was in tears when they called and said congratulations . They are absolutely wonderful to work with.

They were Very helpful, informative, considerate and thorough when we talked they always asked about how my child is or wife is doing it’s little things like that show they really care.

Fantastic. They'll update you immediately and remind you if you forget something because it's a lot of paperwork at once when you shorten the closing window. They put out information in a digestible manner, though readily went into depth when asked questions. The team also would give realistic and accurate time expectations. Additionally, they communicated effectively and timely with my realtor when it was required.
