It was one of the best experiences ever. Being a first time home buyer, I was plenty nervous but Ashley Cook, along with Kendra and their whole team made this very enjoyable. I went through the Lighthouse Program to get my credit in track, watched my spending and did what was asked from VUHL and yesterday we signed a contract to purchase our first home, not only the first but our dream home. I'm so excited and I know that the level of care and concern that Ashley and her team took with my family and I, we wouldn't have received anywhere else. Grant and his team were always professional. If I had any concerns or issues they would answer right away.
Fees are ridiculous. Namely the origination fee. I have yet to see another company charge more than $500.00, where as I spent over $2,000.00. Estimated closing costs raised 4 times over the approval process. Highway robbery.

I am not the type of person who outwardly demands respect, that is arrogant in my opinion. I was treated with great respect from both Aaron Laxson and Mitch Casteel though and feel it is worth mentioning that it admittedly felt good. I felt they each had my best interests in mind from the first call I made, through the follow up call Mitch placed to me after my cash out refinance loan had closed.
