Even though my name is correct in your billing system, it was wrong in the re-fi paperwork, using an E for my middle initial. Even after requesting correction, the final paperwork still required me to cross out the E, correct and initial EVERY page.
The Loan Calculator on the Veteran's United website was a little off. Fortunately the Agent was able to punch in the numbers on the spot and give me an accurate estimate. Overall great experience with Veteran's United though!

Some of the people involved in the process were always difficult to get in contact with. Never answered calls and took forever to respond to emails. Also, mixed up information about who I was/who they were dealing with. Complete lack of attention.

Underwriter was much too stringent in qualifying and funding. I was putting half down on house and had excellent credit rating, yet was treated like someone with marginal credit and low income. I was at the closing table still waiting for funding.
