I purchased a home from across the United States, in a different timezone, in a hectic work environment, using a POA with my fiance to make this happen. None of this would have been possible if we did not have this team. When I say that everyone on this team came up to bat and HIT - I mean it. Nobody missed, nobody dropped a ball, every T was crossed, and every I was dotted. The team was receptive to my work schedule and we worked together well as if we had worked together before. A truly rare team of extreme competency, diligence, and absolute grit. I'd go to war with these folks.

I was hesitant about VU at first. I felt that whenever I googled VA loans I was bombarded with VU advertising and that I would most likely have an okay at best experience. I was very wrong about that and I had an amazing experience with VU and I feel I owe that all to the amazing loan team I had the pleasure of working with. Anne Kuster was an absolute dream and got us to the finish line in record time (even with an ROV) and I already know who I will be contacting when it comes time to buy another home in the future. I cannot thank them enough for their commitment to their work, their knowledge, and their willingness to get you into a home.
I didn't know what to expect from this, my first home buying experience but the team at Veterans United erased any fears I had. They outlined the process and laid it out. Veterans United Home Loans is the best finance company we ever used. We finance a home with we them and our loan officer John Schnurbusch worked hard did a great job to get us a great rate. We did two refinances with our home through Veterans United and requested John to handle both of them each time. Again, he did a great job getting rates we were comfortable with. The entire process was extremely messy, multiple email threads, no real organization or checklist, we had to push closing multiple times due to underwriting miscommunication issues. Unfortunately I will not refer anyone, and will not use Veterans United again.
