Seriously, stay away from those such as iFreedom (or formerly known as: for a reason). I learned my nightmare lesson with them when I bought my first house with my VA loan. With Veterans U, I truly gained a lot of knowledge this time around. Always thought it was just lenders behind the scenes. Had no clue of underwriters (their nightmares beyond nightmares). They will help assist with the set-up of utilities, etc. More importantly as a Disabled Vet, depending on your rating, they will make certain that you receive the benefits that you deserve (no property/city tax, etc).
They go above and beyond!
Go with someone who truly specializes in VA loans. Go with Eric Johnson and Team!

Everyone was very helpful and nice. I was kept in the loop with every update and change. Every question I had was answered. Absolutely amazing team!
My team was spot-on, attantive to my needs and our change of homes. We didnt make the process easy for them by switching home mid-stream. All the final numbers were absolutely correct which surprised me. Lindsey was quite patient and quick to respond to our questions. All of the to-do's were somewhat demandling but worth it in the end and I understood why in the end. It is apparent that these VU people know exactly what they are doing.
