The entire team DeAnn, Doug, Michelle and the folks at Fidelity title made all of it bearable considering the stress I was going through. Thanks again to all involved
It was a pleasue doing business with Lee and his team at Veterans United. From the initial call to the closing of our loan everything was easy and everyone was on top of their game and very professional.
There was a little surprise at clsoing time. VU needed a copy of the HUD from the people who bought our old home, not just our HUD statement. This came as a surprise to out title company and their title company. Eventually we were able to get the buyers permission to get a copy of their HUD and everything ended up fine.
Great company to work with and are going to give our VA Rep in Montgomery Co. your loan officers' information so he can give it to other veterans.
I understand it's part of the paperwork process but I find that a few pieces of information was redundant as well as irrelevant. For instance, I was out of work for 8 months due to an accident. Yet the underwriter wanted a written and signed explanation as to why I was receiving shirt term disability. Also having to provide phone to the power plants in which I had worked at to verify my employment. Again the underwriter was very adamant for these contacts in which I did not have handy. I got them off the internet. Point being is that I was not a full time employee for these plants yet I was there as a subcontractor. I don't know why calling the company whom I was employed at these facilities. There were a few others that I will not get into but why it frustrated me is because I found it to be a waste if time, for me and VU. However it's final, it's behind me and life goes on.
I had the best overall experience and am so happy that I had the real estate agent and loan officer as a team the way that I did. Now I'm a home buyer and am telling all my friends how wonderful my experience was and how easily they can become one as well.
The best I have ever work with.
On a scale of 1 to 10 this was definitely an over all 10. Although it took longer to close than expected that was not Veteran's United fault. They told me how to rectify the situation and what to expect in the coming days. Great customer service.
Overall experience was good
Melissa, Billys assistant, went beyond the call of duty to help us the entire way. She has the best customer service skills I have ever experienced.
