I went through multiple other lenders before using Veterans United, and their service was far superior. I also got the lowest rate with them. My loan specialist, Horace Johnson, was great. The online portal allowed me to link my bank account, which saved me a ton of time because many other companies had me scanning my statements page by page as my bank didn't offer downloadable statements. I would highly recommend this company to anyone buying a home.

The process of getting ready for the house was so easy. I wasn’t expecting be approved for the loan much less to have a house in less than 2 months.
This was the most seamless loan process I have ever gone through. My loan team delivered on time. Word of advice: complete your To-Do’s as soon as they hit your inbox. This is where you have the most control during this process. Bill Bales, his team, Kat in Client Advocate ...everyone was phenomenal and very professional! I wish I could leave them a 10 star and give them all a virtual hug!!!!
Jamie was very helpful with every detail. The only problems I had was when the appraisal was due, I thought that was to be paid for as part of the cash at closing funds, because in the loan estimate that is where it showed up. I was not informed that I had to pay for the appraisal before it would be done. Once that was made clear, I paid it immediately. The other issue, not a big one, but still not as it should have been, is that they use a property tax estimation system instead of getting the actual extant property taxes which I gave them, so their calculated monthly payment was off by the error in their property tax estimation system. Why use an estimation system when the actual data is known and well documented?
I mean for me they made it pretty easy and straightforward, but my situation was strictly VA income and it took me probably less than 30 days close on the house a new construction out at that.
