Amazed on how quick and easy Veterans United made it to purchase our first home. Our loan officer Dan Fowler exuded exceptional service, follow through, and single handedly executed the ENTIRE process! Not only did Dan commit to closing quickly, he partnered us with Sean, a VA approved realtor. We attempted to work with other realtors at first and everyone of them seem to be very cautious, or reluctant due to our VA loan.....? Clearly not the issue with Sean. We closed in thirty days and are now looking for paint! For all of the Veterans out there, if I would have known what I know now we would have purchased years ago. VU gets a 10 out of 10!
Dan did an outstanding job helping me through the process. He was very informative and helpful. I honestly will say that I am glad he was assigned my file, as I know that it was a difficult one and I am not sure anyone else would have put in the same effort to assist me with reaching the goal of owning a home.
Lots of paper work......really excessive. Probably signed and resigned documents several time during overall process. At closing we resigned nearly every document over again at the title insurance company........ and we now have a 1" thick bound document with all signed and dated 7 Jan 2014........and nearly 2" of those documents (copies) signed/resigned prior to the closing date.
Our house search began in WA State, moved to AZ and eventually TX........a real challenge receiving forms to be signed and returned to Veterans United. Joel did a great job in helping us through the process....very professional and personable. We would enjoy a face-t0-face one day.

Our experience in the beginning was really rough due to the realtor assigned, Ms. Theresa Daniels. She could not find any homes in my price range, or area desired, so I had to make my own wish list to view homes. I was very new to the process since this was my first time purchasing a home. She allowed me to bid and inspect on a foreclosed property which if I knew more about the process I would not have wasted money to have inspected. I asked for a new realtor; Ms. Ricky Lynn Cook was assigned. She really turned this around for my son and I, and made house buying a wonderful experience. She was knowledgeable and found us a home in our desired area, in my price range, and with all the features we asked for. She should be assigned to everyone in this area. The Veterans United Team: Jacob, Johnny, & Ericka were all exceptional! This team made it fun and easy.

Breck was very professional as she answered our endless questions and patiently walked us through this lengthy process. Her positive attitude and frequent updates allowed us to have peace of mind during those times when stress can often turn to frustration. Breck understands what customer service is all about and that is an increasingly rare quality these days. She gets it. I'm very sorry it took me so long to complete this survey. I would like to especially thank Dan Davis for all his help in completing my re-finance. Dan was very professional and his service and time spent completing my loan package went far above the normal expatiations. Good experience overall however, too hectic at closing. I appreciated the hustle by Veterans United to meet the clsoing date but I feel some of the loose ends could have been tied up earlier in the process.
Eric Wessel was extremely helpful. When I had any questions he was accessible and knowledgeable. There were a few times that everything was feeling surreal and Eric reassured me that everything was moving along. With the holidays there was a lot of time off for everyone. When I couldn't speak to Eric I spoke to Brandon Levy. They were both great. It was a positive experience. Thank you all so much.
Breck Frerking and her assistant heather rosenburg were a great team to work with up until closing. Im positive it was not there fault that the underwriting didnt go smoothly, but they can anticipate these forms and documents ahead of time and reqiest them from the buyers. Other then that they are great with costomer service and I know breck worked round the clock for me and I appreciate that. I would recommend her to my family and friends just not the underwritters
I think I might have been the one customer that Morgan Evans and Lee Sattler worked with the longest but was no fault of theirs. There were some legal problems with the property because a portion of the land was sold and not filed properly. By the time this whole thing came to closing, I felt like Morgan was a very good friend of mine! I talked to him more than some of my friends...lol He, Lee and Jeremy, whom I only spoke to once or twice, were always very professional, courteous, apologetic (even when it wasn't their fault) to me. I couldn't have asked for a better mortgage team! I am very happy with my experience with Veterans United and would gladly recommend any of my Veteran friends to go through your company.
