Everyone I work with through Veterans United was so supportive, reassuring an made this process possible without Jamie Hughes and Jeff Beasley taking the time to speak with me on the home purchase they also took the time to get to know me! Which showed me this home purchase was just as important to me as it was to them THANK YOU GUYS!!! Just an all around GREAT experience

Overall, I would not recommend going through this headache unless you are a Veteran unable to come up with a down payment. Felt very little, if any, consideration or care about my Veteran status and even almost lost the house at one point due to a clerical error on Veterans Uniteds fault. Possibly they are handling too many cases at once to give enough attention to the Veterans, and assist them. Finally, the fact that a week after getting the house, my loan was passed off to a company that I've never heard of. I understand this is a general practice now, but I do not believe it is right or in the veterans best interest. This was the most disheartening thing. You work with someone who is "Veteran Friendly" and wants to help you get the loan, then they pass it off to someone else, who won't have that same attitude, I don't know/trust, and have never worked with before. The team even sent my "congratulations" t-shirt to the wrong house. The "5"s given in the rating system is me being generous. All in all, I'd like to make them lower, but I understand that I don't know everything on the other end that could be happening.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Matthew thank you for sharing this honest review. We apologize that our service did not provide the personalized experience you expected throughout the process. Your comments will help us ensure that we learn from mistakes and improve for the next customer. We value your business and hope you enjoy your new home.

If i was going to do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing.

Veteran’s United made it very easy to buy our first home and we’re so glad that we went through them. Though I wish the home-buying process didn’t require us to jump through so many hoops, the VU team assisted us in navigating those hoops and providing the steps and platforms to aid in going through the process. They put in extra time and work to make sure we weee taken care of and we’ll be forever grateful for the team.

I think I’ve said enough in the comments boxes above. Would I recommend VU to any other Veteran? All I can add is that if The United States Marine Corps had not already adopted their motto “Semper Fidelis”, which translates to “Always Faithful”, then VU should have dibs on it!

The team was so helpful in making sure we understood the whole process from start to end,at the end of the day they are awsome

Made this process easy and effortless. Never left lost of misguided, and broke things down for Veteran to understand and finish this process.

I've been told house buying is frustrating, but considering this was done through emails, text, and phone calls. The direct contact through the Real Estate Agent, it was pretty easy.Thank you.

I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better team. They took great care of me. They explained the process, always told me the next steps and what to expect. I absolutely love Veterans United process in general. It makes it easy to know what to do and keep up with what’s needed.Thank you all again for everything!

The team Jeremy, Zach and a few others went above and beyond getting me an excellent deal and as a first time home buyer he really made everything make better sense!

Outstanding!!!!! Highly recommend!!!
Melissa Kunkel and her team were extremely helpful! Definitely will use them again in the future as my mortgage lender for some future home buying.

VU crew was helpful all the way through my home buying process.

I really wish there was an option for a 10+ because the entire team worked hard to make a Christmas miracle happen.
