Everyone was very helpful. I called very often with lots of questions and they always seemed like they were glad to hear from me.
The people at Veterans United were extremely kind and helpful. They were also punctual and stayed on top of things. However, we genuinely feel misled in several ways. The loan officer set us up for failure in a couple of areas, and when I expressed frustration over the misunderstanding, he became very defensive and belittling.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m glad to hear the team was kind, helpful, and stayed on top of things throughout the process. At the same time, I’m sorry to hear there were misunderstandings that left you feeling misled and unsupported. I can understand how frustrating it would be to feel dismissed when trying to voice your concerns.

The whole team was great from start to finish and Derek was really great in giving me some solid advice about bettering my credit. Overall I had a really good experience in purchasing a home with Veterans United.
Brice was amazing! Any questions, doubts, concerns I had he was right there to help me through it and reassured me. My process was difficult but Brice made it bearable! Super thankful for him and the rest of the team!
Mostly I appreciated the transparency and honesty I was given. 10/10 would recommend
The team worked hard to meet a deadline.
We were fortunate to have chosen Veterans United Home Loans to purchase our condo. From day one, the personal loan specialist was always available to answer any questions or help you in any way. The real estate agents we worked with were outstanding in working with Veterans United which made the process much easier on us. We truly felt we could trust Veterans United to "look out for us" and protect our interests in the home buying process. ALSO. . . We want to "Thank" Veterans United for our new doormat! It fits perfectly!!!
Everything was a complete lack of professionalism from the get go. The realtor was rude and negotiated in bad faith which really made us lose all trust in her. We also were threatened with repercussions when we said we wanted to terminate the wentire deal due to being treated like shit through the whole process. The lender told me I was full of shit when I told him rates had been dropping for almost a month but our rate remained the same. We were promised a rate break for using their shitty realtor. That didn’t happen. I sent screen shots of the rate drops and never a peep. He also told me that he would just call my wife instead of me because he has no spine and is a coward to not be able to talk to the man. We were treated as second rate and bullied and threatened into continuing with them “or else”. DO MOT RECOMMEND. I will make sure on every veteran page and post that you are not recommended. Good job taking advantage of vets.

Hey Nicholas,
I’m very sorry to hear how frustrated and disrespected you felt throughout your experience. Buying a home should never leave someone feeling pressured, dismissed, or unheard, and I can understand why this process damaged your trust. Your concerns about communication, professionalism, and how you were treated are serious, and I appreciate you taking the time to share them.
At Veterans United, we want every borrower to feel supported and respected throughout the process, and I’m sorry this experience did not reflect that. I would appreciate the opportunity to learn more about what happened and review your concerns further with the appropriate teams.

Everyone was great. I was actually very surprised and impressed. You made everything easy and kept in touch, promptly returned my calls. You guys are great.
I can't imagine ever purchasing another home without Veterans United by my side. They made the process easy, understandable and no pressure. I knew exactly what I could afford before I even started the journey. With the exception of inspection cost, I really did buy my house with NO MONEY DOWN!! I couldn't have done it without my loan officer Kody Gilbow and his team. Thank you for the gifts and your welcomed to stop by any time!
Veterans United Realty helped me along to purchase my first home. They made the process easy for a first time home buyer to figure out. I would recommend to any Veteran looking for their first home.
The documents requested are not the long list most mortgage companies and lenders require. That was so nice.
