There were a few hiccups but overall all went well and relatively easy
Buying real estate is a very humbling experience. ALL of your dirty laundry is out there for discussion and then the underwriter wants details. Details that you try hard to forget because they were painful. This process sucks but unfortunately it cannot be avoided when financing a home, the lender needs to be sure you are a trustworthy candidate for them to loan you hundreds of thousands of dollars. It is what it is but Veteran's United made it easier
Most of the team was great until the end. Felt like things were over promised and under delivered, and communication was poor during the most critical moments. Once might be a coincidence, a second critical moment with no communication shows me that its not. The loan team did not give the same level of care after they knew that it was impossible for the loan recipient to go anywhere else when under contract.
Again, had a wonderful experience with Veterens United, and especially Aaron Brooks who did a tremendous job taking care of all that was needed. I would highly recommend Veterens United to anyone who’s considering a home loan.
The VU team was able to make this happen in record time! Friendly, professional and competent. We even received a call on Selina's vacation day as she kept on top of our loan. We are happy to recommend VU to anyone looking to buy a home. Thanks to all of them!
