Underwriting was my biggest headache. It seemed that several times documents that I sent were not read completely and follow up questions were asked that were already answered on the documents sent. This was the most nerve wracking part of the process and often times I would get to do items/messages in the late afternoon leaving me no answers till the next day. This added stress to an already stressful situation. Overall though it was a great process and I would do it again!
What can I say, my home buying process was a complete success due to the Veterans United TEAM, and I wish to thank EVERYONE involved. My experience was one of complete satisfaction, there were zero delays on our part with everything approved through underwriting in just a couple of weeks, which was then a waiting period for the seller to complete their obligations. Veterans United will be my solid recommendation for anyone I know needing to purchase a new home!

It was so easy working with Veterans United on my home loan. There was great communication, and I loved the text feature because sometimes I wasn’t sure who would have the answer to my question. So I would just text the number, and the right person on the team would get back to me, never more than a couple hours later. They were helpful anytime I had issues with a realtor, and were always available to answer questions about listings when I wasn’t sure what the VA would and wouldn’t fund. They worked hard to help us find a home that met our needs in such a difficult market. I would highly recommend using Veterans United to any vet looking to buy a home!
