Chance (and Tyler) worked so hard to keep us on track with the loan process. We had many questions because we were first time home buyers but he remained patient with us and answered all our questions. He is very knowledgeable and stayed positive the whole time. There are times we doubted ourselves but he believed in us and helped us all the way to the very end. We truly appreciate the team's hard work in helping us make our dreams come true! A shout out also to Sam who helped us bring our credit to a good spot so we can get started.

I'm so grateful that we chose Veterans United! We are first time home buyers and had no idea what to expect. Our loan officer, Phil Stroessner, guided us through every step of the process and made everything as easy as possible. We weren't working with a realtor yet, so he even arranged a meeting with a local realtor in the Norfolk area. She was fantastic, and they worked together seamlessly throughout the entire process! Phil was so quick to get back to us, answer questions, and was always thorough in his explanations and updates. He worked on several hurdles to get us into the final closing, and went to great lengths to ensure that we were in our new home before Christmas! We really appreciate all of his team's hard work. Andrew and kollin were very experienced with VA process which made the transition easier and seamless.
The whole process was so smooth! We closed in 16 days because of how smooth everything was and how on the ball everyone was. Anytime I texted or called my man Steve was right there to answer. I mean there was no time between me reaching out and Steve answering. No matter how silly or small my questions were answered and my paperwork looked over. I seriously can not recommend veterans united and Steve enough. That was such an enjoyable experience.

There were times that communication was not as clear as it should have been been or needed to be to accomplish the task and there was a lack of understanding about availability of this client to resources at times creating frustration and and appearance to others that the client was not responding to the Loan Officer /team which created a negative representation with the realtor/team who is known to the Veteran's family. This was distasteful and irritating.
Tyler Salter is absolutely one of the best people I know. He made this experience the best and we went through a lot during this process. He made it so much better, was always upbeat and positive. I gained a true friend in this experience. Veterans United is a better place for having him as a employee.
Y'all are like a well liked machine. Very communicative.
