Every hiccup and speed bump was dealt with swiftly and efficiently and they were able to provide my family a home within a couple of weeks since contract date. The overall process was more tedious than other VA lenders and the appraiser’s they use do not do their jobs. A $700 appraisal still had the VA buyer have to go out and take pictures of smoke alarms.

VA appraisers are independent and sometimes need additional proof, like photos of smoke alarms, to meet the VA’s requirements.
