I am very pleased and happy that Veterans United Home loan help me get home. I feel very blessed! Thank you so much Veterans United Home loan for being there for me.
I want to give a big shout out to Veterans United and say thank you! You made our family dream come true and made it a reality. In May we started the buying process with a local lender and a few weeks into the process I found out that he was not very familiar with the Va loan process. So I decided to go with Veterans United and boy I'm glad I did. We started the process on June 16th and we closed on July 14th. I had a few obstacles to overcome and the other lender I started with made it look like a very long process but Veterans United took my concerns, listen to me and made the process go smooth. I was a first time home buyer and I had no idea what to expect but Veterans United helped make the America dream come true and now I'm a proud homeowner and boy that sure has a nice ring to it. :) Jon, Ashton and the entire team was wonderful throughout the entire process and again words can't express my thanks and I close this post out by saying keep up the great work. Thank you from the Watts Family.

Experience first-hand why 379,711 homeowners give us a perfect score!
It was a very easy, to the point process. They streamlined everything and connected us to everybody we needed to be in touch with to get the sale done.
I appreciated all the support from the entire team both before my purchase and after as well.
Wonderful service - best loan team we’ve worked with!
We had an absolutely outstanding experience with Veterans United Home Loans from start to finish. As first-time homebuyers, we expected the process to be stressful and confusing, but they made everything smooth, fast, and incredibly organized. The communication was top-notch the entire way through. We always had someone available to answer questions, explain the next steps, and keep us updated. It never felt like we were left wondering what was going on. Every person we worked with was professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about helping us succeed. What impressed us most was how efficiently they handled everything. Not only did they keep the process moving, they actually got us to closing THREE WEEKS EARLY. That kind of dedication and teamwork is hard to find.If you’re looking for a lender that communicates well, works quickly, and truly supports veterans and homebuyers throughout the entire process, we cannot recommend Veterans United highly enough. They exceeded every expectation we had.
Made process easier than any service member or vet would have thought off.

For documents you request please add examples. In our case the required document was the original note. We were unsure of what this looked like.
The realtors given by Veterans United were both bad communicators: one left the state while I was buying a house and stopped communicating, and the other made schedules and appointments without my knowledge or consent. The final real estate agent, Mrs. Kim Winters was very helpful. My loan coordinator was very helpful, but I did not hear from them for weeks in the beginning until it was close to closing on a house. The most helpful person was Missy, the person that helped me with setting up my utilities, mail and Internet, because she got me connected to people when she checked in.It was a very stressful time buying and selling a house. And unfortunately, I did not feel taken care of, or felt like anything was made easy by working with Veterans United. I will not be moving with Veterans United again.
Response from Veterans United
Hey Keith,
Thank you for sharing your experience. Buying and selling a home at the same time can already feel overwhelming, and I’m sorry the process added more stress instead of making things easier for you. It’s especially disappointing to hear that communication and coordination with the real estate agents left you feeling unsupported during such an important transition.
I do appreciate you recognizing the team members who made a positive impact along the way. I’m glad Kim Winters, your loan coordinator, and Missy were able to provide support when you needed it most. Missy’s follow-up and willingness to help connect you with resources is exactly the kind of care we want every customer to experience consistently throughout the process.
At the same time, I understand why the lack of communication early on and the scheduling concerns with the agents would leave you frustrated and disappointed overall. Your feedback is important, and I’d appreciate the opportunity to learn more about your experience. If you’d like to speak further, you can reach me directly at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com.
