In May we started the buying process with a local lender and a few weeks into the process I found out that he was not very familiar with the Va loan process. So I decided to go with Veterans United and boy I'm glad I did. We started the process on June 16th and we closed on July 14th. I had a few obstacles to overcome and the other lender I started with made it look like a very long process but Veterans United took my concerns, listen to me and made the process go smooth. Our team with Veterans was outstanding! Buying our first home was very stressful, but Lisa and everyone else made it all worthwhile. When our appraisal came in low, Lisa went to bat for us, advocating for an ROV that actually was approved. Our home was then appraised at what we bought it for. I don’t think it would have if Lisa didn’t do the hard work to prove the was worth more! Additionally, she was very flexible and helpful to answer questions and come up with numbers anytime we needed her.
Lastly, my husband and I are expecting our first baby. One day, we came home to a baby gift from Lisa, Melissa, and Bianca. That kind of kindness is above and beyond. We can’t thank everyone enough!
