Under writer seemed excessive with certain requests that didn’t even end up being necessary. Other than that it was a good experience.

USAA backed out of our loan 3 weeks before closing. Veteran United talked to us and listened to our situation and provided assurance it would all work out and we would still be able to close on time.

Brett Metcalf and Stephanie were awesome! I have bought several homes and by far they were fantastic and I would go to them again at any point in the future. I give both Brett and Stephanie an A+ for all they did and their outstanding communication skills!
However, the underwriter was the most unprofessional underwriter I have ever worked with. The underwriter in fact will potentially receive a complaint from me to the following organizations: CFPB, NMLS and the governing state entities for what I believe are clear violations of going well beyond Federal guidelines for information requests and explanations.
Overall, a 10! The only thing I would suggest is to make sure that the final closing documents are finalized before the moment of closing! That was extremely annoying! Show up expecting to pay one thing and all of the sudden; nope you must pay this! Also, please fix the issue about having to constantly having to get the DocuSign reset. Every time my Loan team would send me something it would say that my session had timed out and to reverify. Well there is no place or link to do that!
