Helpful, fast, informative and professional. Made our final purchase of our dream home way easier than our other purchases.

Veterans United made our first home buying experience simple during one of the craziest times in our lives. Between living in one state and buying in another, driving across the country, and my husband and I being separated by deployment right before closing on the house, our loan officer Devin McCall did absolutely everything he could to keep us happy and successful in our home buying journey. We were in a big hurry to get everything done, and it was nice to have such aggressive support from our loan company. If you use this company, request Devin!

The best team!

Everyone I worked with was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. I appreciated every single person who worked with me on getting my loan approved.

Simple and easy from start to finish. Never rushed. Always making sure I had what I needed to get my home at the same time making sure my financial security was taken into account. Reps were always fast to answer and very knowledgeable on the issues. Kevin was very friendly, easy to talk to and ask questions.

Leanne was still very helpful

Very smooth process, stress free. Had an amazing team.

Horrible communication. Problems never got solved and everyone ignored me. Got hung up on a call. We are 100% disabled veteran and got tax exemption because we are in Texas. We submitted documents about tax exemption and the one on call said they will contact us if they do not receive document but they never contacted us. And now our mortgage increased from $2700 to $3700 because of escrow from property tax? We called again and they hung up on me. My husband called and they said they never received anything document? We did not receive any proper explanation or solutions. Both of us just received an answer from Veteran United that it was our fault that we did not submit documents (but we did!)
Response from Veterans United
Hi DoanLee,
I’m really sorry to hear about your experience. Feeling ignored, disconnected, or hung up on is not acceptable, and I can understand how upsetting this must be, especially when you’ve been actively trying to provide the right documentation.
I also hear how concerning the change in your mortgage payment is. Situations involving property tax exemptions and escrow can be complex, but you should have received clear communication and support along the way. It’s frustrating to feel like your efforts weren’t acknowledged or properly reviewed.
I’d truly like the opportunity to look into this for you and help get clarity around what happened with your documents and escrow. Please reach out to me directly at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com so I can review your situation and work toward a resolution with you.
Our team is available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday, and we’ll follow up as soon as possible if you reach out outside those hours.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
My team was absolutely amazing with the whole process and always there when i needed them every step of the way

The Veterans United team was extremely helpful, user-friendly, and super responsive throughout the entire loan process. Their support to my family was top-tier before, during, and even after the formal loan process. I have already begun recommending Veterans United to my friends and coworkers.

Casey Martin and his team are second to none! They were extremely communicative, transparent about numbers, and patient with us during our home search. I am a returning customer for Casey and will be for my next purchase as well! I recommend him to Veteran i know searching for a home!
