Just refinanced with VU - the experience was outstanding! Absolutely, no complaints! VU handled my original mortgage. When I saw an opportunity to refi, I shopped around but could not find a company that was better than VU. Others "fast talked" and promised great rates, but there was always something hidden in the numbers. They were not up front, detailed, and honest like VU. VU even went the extra mile to assist with retitling my home in my family trust. These folks are the "real deal"! They understand that they get more business by being honest, professional, and fair to Vets.
I got such an awesome team that really put in the workforce, answered all my questions, and helped me secure my first home. Feeling truly blessed to have Veterans United.

From the beginning of my initial contact with Veterans United Home Loans to the closing on our new home, not once did I ever feel uncomfortable or mistreated or was given unsound or incorrect advice during the whole process. Everyone, from beginning to end, was 100% professional and overwhelmingly polite and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I was going to need before going to closing and making sure there were no last minute problems, which there were none. I am a 100% Disabled Veteran, and I wouldn't say this if it were not my true feelings. I had a friend whom I was stationed with recommended to use Veterans United to purchase a home. Right away I started using this application, easily able to upload documents and be able to review all tasks needed in order to not only see my approval rate. Also be able to access my documents to read and download.
I thought the team did extremely well. They were in contact and always followed up on outstanding request. They also kept me informed and on top of responsibilities. They made sure everything was done correctly. I am thankful for that.

Danny was a superstar and just all around awesome!! He and his team went above and beyond when it came to assisting us with the purchase of our home. Had a few twists and turns, during the loan process, a lot of questions regarding VA loan applications and possible VA loan bylaws regarding getting a VA loan while having an existing VA and also learning about an IRRRL loan for Veterans. Veterans United was able to help me untangle a very difficult financial issue caused by my service connected injuries. I was not able to find anyone who could help me. Veterans United was the only one who knew how to help. Attorneys, real estate professionals, banks all told me I could forget about owning a home for a least three years. Veterans United understood the nuances of my case, and my loan officer Chet Kent knew how to help. Veterans United had online classes that explained every step of the process. What was not covered in the online lessons my loan officer explained to me thoroughly. Without Veterans United my wife and I would not be in our dream home.
