Everything and everyone was fantastic until the day of closing. The closer assigned at VU couldn't get the documents to the title company in time, and so we were waiting around the area for 3 more hours with two babies in the car. Then the funding department took another 3 hours to fund the loan before we could go get the keys. Overall I'd recommend VU because they are very knowledgeable and easy to work with (especially if you have VA disability pay), but be prepared for closing day to take longer than normal.

This is the place for a Veteran to get a loan. We had to go past our lock expiration. We only paid $41 per day for the extension. Other companies I checked with were $110 per day, There were no hidden fees and I felt that they were working in my best interest
