Fairly easy process.
Brian and his team were Awesome! They stayed on top of everything literally from the first phone call to closing day. Any questions I had, they had an answer for. My realtor Deb Kelly was just as awesome. She did her job from start to finish and always went the extra mile. Thank you so much Veterans United!
Great experience. Everyone was professional and helpful. One thing I think would have been a good idea early in the process would have been if I had been given a ballpark figure for my closing costs. I wondered several times early in the process whether I was wasting everyone’s time.
The communication between lender and buyer could definitely be better, especially after closing. I was contacted by Pennymac regarding my first payment to them before I was contacted by VU regarding the first month’s payment being due, which caused another unplanned expense after the process. That combined with the failure to mention that my now ex wife who lives in another state would need to be present during the closing is just frustrating. Needless to say, I would not recommend this company to anyone who does not have a lot of patience, nor will I use it again in the future.
