Greet experience with the team helping me get through my first house buying.
No one else could do what t'all did. Thank you!
From day one until closing on my home everyone at Veteran's United were professional, supportive, always there to answer a question, and take the time to explain things in a way that was easy to understand. They worked hard to ensure everything was timely, precise, and with good financial numbers (interest, fees, etc).
Very helpful, flexible, professional, and personable :). She helped my experience to be very smooth for a first time home buyer, I am very grateful for all of her and the teams help!
Couldn't have asked for a better lending team.
Definitely would recommend Veterans United! The team (Joseph Sepulveda, Mikela Olivo, Kim Hurtado and Alyssa Aylor) did an excellent job at guiding me through my first home buying experience! Do yourself a favor and go with the VU fam 💯
Joel and Chris were absolutely amazing and I could not say enough about the experience!
We really appreciate the support from our team, especially Landon! He was there every time we called and was able to answer any question we had even if it was about another part of the process. We appreciate everyone who had a hand in making our home buying experience a great one!
Icannot say enough amazing things about Veterans United—they truly changed my life.
From my very first conversation, their team took the time to thoroughly review my finances and clearly explain every step of the homebuying process. There was never a moment where I felt confused or unsupported. I also completed their education course and regularly watch their YouTube content, which helped me feel informed and empowered throughout this journey.
What really made the experience exceptional was the team I worked with. My loan officer, Carma Bittle, loan coordinator Shannon Brown, and concierge Shawna Woofter actually the entire team was absolutely phenomenal. They answered every single question—no matter how small, repetitive, or anxiety-driven. They were patient, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure I felt confident every step of the way.
Buying a home can be overwhelming, but they made it feel manageable and even exciting. When I received the “clear to close,” I was overwhelmed with emotion—I wanted to scream, but since I was at work, I cried instead. That moment meant everything to me.
If you are a veteran considering homeownership, I highly recommend Veterans United. Their professionalism, education, and genuine care set them apart. This was more than just a transaction—it was a life-changing experience.
I've used Veterans United for four home purchases and was really excited to use them again. This time, however, I felt a little bit like an afterthought. For more reasons than one, I felt that my desires were not getting through to my loan servicing team. Communication could have been better. I sent several thorough emails and received one sentence responses 7 days later. When I'm up against the clock, have work obligation, and I'm dealing with something as expensive as buying a house, I'd expect a little more prompt and substantial feedback. All in all the experience was fine and I would still recommend Veterans United but I would encourage other lenders to ensure that their responses and timeliness are commiserate with what they're receiving.
