We initially had a rough and bad experience with a local broker who talked a lot of negatives about VU, then was unable to get us to closing. They then proceeded to tell us that we would not be able to get to closing due to x, Y, and z on any house. Due to this bad experience, we were hesitant. But Crystal Washington was such a breath of fresh air and made it clear from the beginning that she would get us to closing. And she did with flying colors. This was such a great experience for me and my family and I would absolutely recommend VU to any veteran looking to purchase a home. We were able to close in just 14 days! VU is on a whole different level especially when it comes to customer service and following through with promises. I would absolutely use them again, no questions asked. I am overly happy with VU!
Very great experience! The team helped me out with everything I needed. The To do list made understanding what documents I needed to upload a breeze. Erin Jenson helped me a lot with the underwriting process. She was very amazing! She was patient , took time to explain what I needed and what to expect. It helped so much!! This experience buying a home for the first time was excellent ! I would 100% recommend Veterans United to my friends and family.
