I love the dashboard, which makes the process very user friendly and error proof! Additionally, you feel appreciated as a customer and not just another number/loan to process. There is a personal touch experienced with this transaction that I had not experienced before, and it was especially appreciated as a disabled vet. I highly recommend Veterans United!

Wonderful experience from beginning to end! I told my wife that I would "get the ball rolling" on March 1st (which was a Sunday) and I did. Within minutes of submitting my info, my phone was ringing. Within an hour of that, I was preapproved.
From then on, Madison, Brenda, & the team took our hands & led us down a very easy road to buying a home. 38 days later...we closed!
SO friendly & patient! These folks worked hard for us, and made what is usually a hard experience...very very easy. The day we closed, we received a package from UPS. A very nice gift with a very nice card congratulating us.

Veterans United has of the most professional people to work with but that is their second best quality, they are the nicest and friendliest people we have ever met, and we consider them our friends now. Thank you for making us feel loved.
Overall, I had a great experience with my home loan team. They were responsive, professional, and helped guide me through the process smoothly. I always felt like they were available to answer questions and keep things moving forward.
The only issue I ran into was that it wasn’t clearly communicated until the day before closing that my significant other couldn’t be on the deed due to the loan requirements. That caused some last minute stress that could have been avoided with earlier with proper communication.
Aside from that, everything else was handled really well, and I appreciate the team’s support throughout the process.

For people with an hourly salary, VU needs to let them know of the 25 hour weekly hour minimum. Not knowing this nearly derailed our loan application as we had a closing date on the house I was selling and not getting this house would have left us scrambling for a place to stay. This information needs to be passed to the applicant at the start.
