I think a little bit more time getting to know the client better would be helpful. I was getting the feeling that the VU team saw me as a first time buyer.
I was skeptical about where I wanted to live in the beginning but when my son showed me this house on the Zillow App and begged me to go look at it on a Sunday afternoon I'm glad I gave in to him and made arrangements to look at it and it had the perfect lay out for what I wanted to invest in and now that we haven't been able to relax yet I know I will enjoy everything about it when I get finished moving in. Overall, the experience was awesome. First time buying a house and they made it easy. The checklist thing made it simple and clear what I needed to do, which was great because I had no clue. You guys made it easy as can be.

Then whole team was awesome, specially Dustin with my many phone calls and obstacles , the gifts sent for my girls , my package ! Melissa Kunkel was amazing in giving me the information I needed to make decisions based on locking in my loan rate, informing me about the EARL program and ultimately making me feel comfortable and fully educated on the process and what I was signing myself up for.
I've been renting all my life cause I never thought owning a home was a reality for me. I had no idea how easy and affordable the process could be. My only regret is that I didn't come to Veterans United sooner. I would highly recommend to my fellow veterans to pursue buying a home with Veterans United.
