Underwriting seemed obsessed with poking holes in solutions. Poor communication on most things. Did not seem to have a firm grasp on how to do business in NY. Closed a month late due to nonsense.

Look. This was my first time buying a house, and if I had to have gone it alone, I would have quit about 4.2 days into the process. VU and team handled 92.7% of the heavy lifting, and I still found time to whine about the little bit I had to do. To All Veterans who is planning or thinking about applying for VU Home Loans. I urged you to. I was scared and unsure however going through this process and experience it for myself. It was easy. The only advise I recommend is get your documents ahead of time, your credit history is in order, DTI is Low and you have enough saved up just in case. I have nothing but great and awesome feeling of making that decision and trusting VU Team to assist me. At the end of May 2022 I started the process and now 6 July 2022 a First Time Home Owner.
