Julie was very helpful through the whole process. She was quick to respond to my questions and was a great guide through all of it.
If there was a higher rating number than 10 for the overall rating, I would have placed it. Everyone did great.
Thank you 🙏 so much.
I want to share how positive my overall experience has been with Veterans United. From the very beginning, the process was streamlined and well-organized. After my initial contact, I was reached out to promptly and clearly informed about what to expect moving forward. There were no surprises, no unexpected requirements, and no last-minute changes, which I truly appreciated. Everything was communicated upfront and handled exactly as described. One thing that stood out to me throughout this process was the human element. In a time when so much is automated and driven by systems, AI, and technology, Veterans United managed to balance efficiency with genuine personal connection. At no point did the experience feel cold, detached, or mechanical. I always felt like I was working with real people who cared about the outcome, and that made a meaningful difference to me.I also want to highlight how well the entire team worked together. I did my best to stay responsive and do my part to avoid delays, and the same effort was reflected by everyone involved. The process moved smoothly from start to finish, and that success was largely due to the teamwork and communication throughout. It’s rare for something this significant to come together so seamlessly, and I’m very thankful for that.I was able to find exactly what I was looking for, well under the budget I had in mind, and the financing process was handled without any issues. That’s exactly how this process should work, and Veterans United delivered on that expectation.Having bought and sold three properties, this will be my final home purchase, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with how it was handled. I’m genuinely happy, excited, and grateful to be a customer. I feel well taken care of, confident in the process, and truly in good hands moving forward.Thank you for making this experience such a positive one.Thank you and you're tire team for the Home Warming Gift as well! I am still sorting through it!
Probably the best buying experience I’ve ever had buying anything!

It was a exellent experience every step of the way Lucas was very precise in every aspect of the process all of the team members were very helpfull and helped me with all my needs
Josh Kittle was the most unprofessional individual I have ever had to deal with. After dropping the ball on several occasions, and me calling him out on it, he tried to blame me for not being in contact with him for two weeks, which was not true and it turned out he was on vacation. He even had the nerve to call me dishonest for not including certain information that i didn't know needed to be included and told me that if I had a problem to take it up with my congressman. It was only when I submitted a complaint on him (which i still haven't heard back from anyone about) that things started to somewhat move forward. Bailey Daniel, another loan coordinator, then began to work with my and as hard as she tried, she was not much help either. The worst part about the situation is even though I put a complaint in on Josh Kittle and stated I did not want to work with him, they continued to have him over my transaction. I live in Alaska, and I spent money and time purchasing a ticket and on a hotel, so that I could be present for my closing and to pick up my keys for my home. My realtor also filed several extensions because veterans united kept coming back with requests that should have been done with an original request. (Example: they asked for tax returns and then turned around last minute to ask me for tax transcripts) simple things like that, could have sped up the process but apparently they didn't know or care about doing their jobs. Due to things like that, as well as them not submitting my paperwork on time and continuously waiting until the last possible minute to request things and sending documents up, I ran out of time and was only able to sign the documents. I was in town for 10 days, and during that time, absolutely nothing was accomplished. They didn't plan for the federal holiday and chose to wait until during the holiday to send the closing documents to the title company. The lady at the title company was gracious enough to come in on a day when their office wasn't even open to try and get everything fixed. If that wouldn't have happened then i would have had to handle everything by mail and being from Alaska, this would have delayed the process another 7 to 10 days. With all that, I still could not close on my home because I had to fly out that Monday right after i signed my documents, and the documents then had to be mailed out for the seller to sign. It was a complete disaster. I was not able to pick my keys up and my best friend had to pick them up for me the following Wed. This is my first purchase and I was excited but after wasting time and money, not to mention being dismissed on several occasions by veterans united loan coordinator, I will never use you again to purchase anything. Not even a stick of gum. The only reason i continued to use veterans united was because so many others put so much work into getting me into that home and i also had invested so much time and effort trying to make this happen. Not to mention by starting over, I would have lost the almost $2000 is spent on my inspection and appraisal and the home would have gone back on the market. My realtor will also never work with anyone who is using veterans united and i will 100% recommend to anyone i ever speak to about buying a home, that they use ANYONE but veterans united. If i could give you a real rating, it would be a -10.
The key reason is lack of communication, not only with me but within the team members. They were unaware of what others were doing, documents received, etc. The loan officer lacks appropriate empathy and communication skills in dealing with Veteran. She was annoyed when I asked questions and did not speak in terms the average person would understand when not familiar with the lender industry.
