Overall Veterans United was great, Jackson was super helpful, my wife and I have very busy schedules and Jackson was very accommodating to that and any question we had he always made time to explain it better. There are some issues with VU systems timing out as I try to read the documents. Also the insurance piece was an annoyance. I was still shopping and VU for whatever reason auto closed it and put their own insurance in. In fact I got a text message this morning thanking me for choosing VU insurance. I also got a call yesterday saying I had to sign a statement that I had declined VU insurance. I informed the lady my loan had already closed, but send it to me and I'll sign it. Nothing ever came.

We’ve used VU twice and a smaller lender once for our three total times we’ve purchased a home using the VA Loan. Will highly recommend them over and over as we haven’t seen many other lenders top their customer service and support throughout the process. We always feel informed and like we’re part of the entire process during each step, whereas other lenders keep to themselves while working on things behind the scenes. Grateful for VU and will always recommend them for VA Loans.
