I'm very glad I chose Veterans United to purchase my first home. The whole home buying process seemed very overwhelming but they somehow made it understandable in bite size pieces. I was super anxious and lost at the beginning and they held my hand at each step. With their insurance brokerage, I found cheaper auto, home, and flood insurance.
The loan team was incredible to work with. The underwriters were incredibly frustrating with numerous last minute requests, which could have been made well in advance.

Ryan Ashburn and Carly Kanoa were amazing. They kept me up-to-date with how the process was going. They did everything they could to get me the best deal possible and ensure my all the paperwork was submitted. Ryan not only made sure I was informed on my current status but my Realtor as well. We’ve used VU twice and a smaller lender once for our three total times we’ve purchased a home using the VA Loan. Will highly recommend them over and over as we haven’t seen many other lenders top their customer service and support throughout the process. We always feel informed and like we’re part of the entire process during each step, whereas other lenders keep to themselves while working on things behind the scenes. Grateful for VU and will always recommend them for VA Loans.
I would respond immediately to there request and have to wait 3 or 4 days for a response from them ornate to call and ask what was going on. Made me really want to give up
