Phil Stroessner- He always seemed like he was reluctant to work with me especially after I told him I didn't have the money to pay for the appraisal and he told me it would be "coming out of his pocket" from that point he always seemed short and rude with his responses.
Trenton Monnig- talked to the guy once the entire time on the phone and responded to one email he sent other than that he wouldn't call me back after multiple attempts to get ahold of him in the beginning and after not hearing back I had to seek answers from Phil and my real state agent Sonja so if it isn't his job description to answer phones then he should tell everyone when he first talks to them.
*Other than those issues I had a somewhat pleasant experience, I don't plan on doing it again anytime soon though. Lol I plan on staying here at this house you guys helped me buy for the rest of my life.

Alright so this is my 2nd time reviewing Veterans United, 2nd time working with Aaron McMahon’s team, and 2nd time I don’t have enough words to say how amazing they are! From start to finish, working with Veterans United Home Loans was an incredibly positive and smooth experience. I had the pleasure of working with Matthew Perona, Matt Hudson, and Allie Poletti, and I can’t say enough great things about them. Each one of them was responsive, informative, and genuinely supportive throughout the entire process. They were always available to answer my questions, provide clear explanations, and follow up consistently to make sure everything was on track. Their communication was top-notch, and it really made the experience feel personal and stress-free.
There was a bit of a hiccup early on with the real estate agent, who unfortunately did not follow up with me or assist in my home search as expected which led to me having to look for homes on my own. While this was initially frustrating, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
I ended up finding an amazing home and, even more fortunately, was able to work with the sellers’ agent, Melinda Crosslin and her son Corey Crosslin. Not only did Melinda step up and act as buyer’s agent for me, but Corey really went above and beyond in every way. Melinda’s previous experience working with Veterans United gave me an added layer of confidence and reassurance, knowing I was in great hands on all sides. The level of care and professionalism she and Corey provided truly made the rest of the process a joy.
Veterans United’s reputation as a lender was clearly recognized and respected throughout the transaction, which made everything flow smoothly.
