He was able to get us pre-approval done in 1 or 2 days which allowed us to make an offer on our new home. This quick turn around was one of the main reasons for our bid being accepted. Joe kept us well informed through the loan process. Markita, our transaction coordinator was also very professional and set a high standard for communication. Joe and his team were the best I could have asked for a first time home buying experience. The VU recommended agent Kristie Zimmerman was wonderful. She was highly prepared with market statistics, loan information, new buyer information, and how the buying process works with timelines. She helped us thoroughly inspect the property on first showing and was present at all major events including the inspections, and closing.
I would highly recommend VU Home Loans. I’m still in shock by the ease of obtaining a home loan through them. All of their staff that I worked with were extremely helpful and responsive. I’m glad we chose them for our home loan needs. Thank You!

I would previously recommend Veteran's United to other Veteran's due to the quality of service and ease of use that they put forth for me. After this last transaction, I feel like I was just left with the short end of the stick every single step of the way. I believe Veteran's United acted in bad faith and gave me a higher interest rate than was available for new customers and I'm completely disappointed with the entire experience. I was forced into accepting the deal, with no recourse because they completed the paperwork so late from their title work attorney.

Even if your credit is not the greatest, they will work with you to improve your score and get you in the home of your dreams.
Our experience was very good. Communication could have been better as we got closer to closing. Text messaging seemed a little unprofessional when we were trying to reach someone with questions.
