VU went above and beyond to get my loan approved!
I shopped around extensively for a loan while my wife and I were finding our first home. We came to Veterans United because they were able to give us the best rate (and then later reduced it further, and gave us guarantees throughout the process). After that point, when I decided to use VU, I was floored by the customer service that was provided by every member of the staff that I worked with and the thorough approach they had. My wife and I went under contract, and then the sellers backed out- I anticipated this being a huge hassle with the loan. Instead, I got a heartfelt call from Craig expressing his condolences for our bad luck and then he took care of everything on the loan side. As things developed, the web interface made things extremely easy (I never had to find a fax or notary or anything of the sort). Finally, VU's explanations for everything helped us understand each step in an honest, up-front way that was easy enough to understand for a layman but in-depth enough to help us through these major financial decisions. I will recommend VU to anyone I know who is eligible and, should we move, will always work with them in the future.
