Answered questions very promptly and took time to explain any difficult hurdles.The only issue that came up was a delay on finding a road agreement for all owners in that immediate area. My earnest deposit and right to back out of this purchase was extended to 21 days, but did not get an answer to the road dilemma until day 23. As it turned out, I was able to continue and purchase the property. If the road situation would not have been resolved then I would have potentially lost my earnest deposit. Not a good thing.
Our home purchase was a FSBO. Without the knowledge and help of Shawn Swenson and his team, I highly doubt the sale would have ever been completed. They were so very helpful.
At times while listening to the pitch of other specialists in VA loans, I wondered if I'd made the best choice; while we paid for the VA appraisal, one of the other companies said it was free.
