No complaint with Veterans United but my loan specialist experience was horrible for both me and the seller.
Had difficulty trying to contact them. Initially lost sensitive information sent to them via fax. Left me with the impression that they were unsure of procedures required by veterans administration for home loans.
Lack of comunacation,between offices,clients realtors .had to send multiple information over+over to each different office,which should have been passed from,Scott,jarod,durrell and chris.my feedback from realtors,insurance,titl,owner,myself,all said this took way too long,better communication is the keyword!
I found out at closing that I was lied to about the lowest APR I could receive as well as having to write a check for almost $3k because the loan officers did incorrect calculations and then tried to blame it on the title company.
She was very good with me being elderly. I have had a rough time with this move being alone. Today went to doctor with a panic attack. That is why I had not completed survey.
I believe they really care and want to see veterans get into a new home. I dont see them just doing it for money or profit. There is a since of a personal relationship that you are able to go to them for any problem..
After 8 purchases are revised that I have gone through this is been the most outstanding and smooth refinance I have ever experienced. I have always heard all kind of things when it come to buying a home and where it made me very nervous about buying a home for the first time. I can said it was a great experience for me considering the fact I had a Wonderful loan officer Christopher Shoemaker. Chris was always available for me when I had several questions and if he missed my call he always call me right back. Sometimes I would call him multiple times but he always was very pleasant and patient and always made sure I all my questions were answered and was so friendly. He really shows his commitment to his customers. I would definitely refer him to any one looking to buy a home.
