Vet's United made buying my home as stress-free as homebuying can be, which is tough lol my only criticism is the assessor process. I understand it protects the veteran and some people lack common sense, but I was aware of the deal I was getting and going over the appraised price by a couple thousand wasn't a deal breaker for me due to many factors. If they want to advise that's fine, but I almost lost the deal because loans don't go over appraised value. Other than that, it was fantastic.
All in all, I had a wonderful experience with Veterans United Home Loans and my loan team was excellent and very professional in handling my loan! Just want to shout out this team specifically and let everyone know to use them! If I ever buy a home again and need a loan I will definitely be using Veterans United again and hopefully I get this same team! Thank you for everything!
Every person that I dealt with was very professional and extremely helpful! As a first time home buyer, it was refreshing to know i had a team that had my back and was there for me all along the way!

My only input/critique is when it came to interest rates. For only one day, rates dropped to 5.99%, which was .26% lower than the second lowest rate. I tried to call to lock this rate in but nobody answered the phone.I am still not sure if this rate could have been locked in by leaving a message or an email. I would have liked more communication about this process from everyone involved. Maybe even a notification when rates are low, since this can have a significant change on the monthly costs.Other than that, I don’t have any complaints and things went smoothly.
The entire loan team and my realtor were absolutely amazing. They definitely made the whole house buying thing as smooth as possible. They were extremely knowledgeable and answered every question I could ever come up with. I would recommend them to anyone buying a house.

From the minute we filled out a survey/interest link to the final ‘congratulations’ text, we were pleased and surprised! VU knew we wanted to close in less than 30 days and made it very clear what was needed from us to deliver on our goal! They were all amazing and easy to work with! Would highly recommend!
VU stayed on top of everything. If I did not hear from someone from the realty team or title company they did everything they could to get ahold of them so I could just focus on getting all the paperwork needed. Great job and I appreciate all the time an effort you spent on this!
