Absolutely amazing service from start to finish. Tim, Monica and Justine the entire team were amazing. 100% on top of every detail. They are personable, knowledgeable the regular and consistent check-ins made the process seamless. When my first deal fell thru do to sellers agent issues the team rallied to the second option property and plowed ahead we didn’t miss a day toward desired closing. The property I wanted was not readily approved in the system but Tim and the team streamlined the approval process keeping me informed at each mile stone. I can’t say enough about their professionalism. I’ve already recommended them to several close friends servicemen who are actively looking to relocate and buy new homes.

Chris hill and his team were exceptionally great, i wanna to thank them for all the help they provided me along the way, they made buying my home a stress free transaction. Thanks again.

Johnna was very personal and responded back to us very quickly whenever we needed help with something awesome person to work with.

Vetreans United is an Awesome veteran friendly company, highly recommend to all Vets

Great to work with. Always answered questions without hesitation. Made himself available when needed to speak with him.

Shane Lowe is Loyal and has the clients best interest at heart..❤️ I’ve closed with him and his Team on a prior property , and he was very professional and efficient then as well. His Team Leader Nicole is an Awesome Representative as well. Thanks Veterans United, you showed up and showed out for my family and I once again!🙏🏿❤️🙏🏿💪

Exceptional support with this Team. Kyle and his Team are a class act, they made the process go very smooth and problem free. I will certainly recommend VU and specifically Kyle and his Team to my family and friends.

I come from a background in teaching sales professionals everything from CRM mechanics to listening skills. I have never experienced a company as well oiled as the veterans united team. Their knowledge and follow up skills are the benchmark by which everyone should be measured. Absolute pros.

Great team that is quick to respond, knowledgeable and very helpful. Puts us first and helps you throughout the whole process, no matter how many questions (and follow-up questions) you have.

Seth and Melissa are always willing to go above and beyond! To include the rest of the VU team I’ve worked with. Thankful for them!

We had a great experience with Veterans United. Emmett and his team were super helpful from start to finish. We were nervous trying a new VA lender but they far exceeded our expectations. Very thankful for their guidance with our loan. Emmett and Brit were both outstanding to work with.

Veterans United was the best. I highly recommend them. The best when it comes to va loans and helping Veterans reach their dreams.

Closing was cancelled with no prior notice. We found out that closing was cancelled from our realtor and notary halfway through our trip from New Mexico to Missouri because our loan coordinator went on vacation and didn't finish processing the information we sent a head of time. Then an extension had to be filed costing us more money for VU dropping the ball. On top of that, the staff was almost insulting from their lack of knowledge on how transferring teaching license works and put my wife in hot water at the new job she was getting from VU employees harassing them on if my wife was actually getting the job or if she was even qualified for it ( My wife has her Masters and getting her PhD for teaching I might add) even after sending the required intent to hire letter. Deena was impossible to ever get ahold of, and Nathan was far more accessible than she was. The cherry on top was then the team we worked with was working harder to push all the blame on us instead of owning up to their mistake. A simple example being a very early document from VU had the address wrong on one of the initial documents from VU but it's still our fault....
Response from Veterans United
Hey Nicholas,
This one hits hard, and I want to start by saying how sorry I am that your experience with us added stress to what should’ve been an exciting move. You deserved better.
Hearing that you learned your closing was cancelled midway through a cross-country trip—through your realtor and notary no less—is incredibly frustrating. That’s not how this process should go, and I can’t imagine how that disruption and confusion felt in the moment. Adding extra costs to the mix only makes it more frustrating, and I hear you loud and clear: this delay wasn’t on you.
What you described around your wife’s employment documentation is especially upsetting. I’m really sorry our team’s actions made her feel scrutinized or doubted, especially when she went above and beyond in providing what was asked. That should have been the end of the conversation. I understand how this added unnecessary pressure at a time when she was stepping into a new role—and doing so with credentials that speak for themselves.
It also sounds like you had to chase answers when you should’ve been getting clear and timely updates. You should have had someone in your corner, advocating for you, not making you feel blamed or brushed off.
I’d really like my advocates to have the chance to look deeper into everything that happened. If you or your wife are open to it, please reach out to me directly at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. I want to make sure your feedback gets in front of the right people here.
