I personally would prefer an email recap of phone conversations due to the nature of my being deployed at the time and in a fast moving environment does become a hassle to remember and be close to pen and paper to write down crucial details buying a home. Gabe was good about doing this.

Everything went pretty well. There was only one issue and I believe it was my fault. There was one agreement form that delayed my family over the weekend, but everything worked out in the end because of the top tier team at Veterans United.

There were several delsays due to the appraiser.

I’m really sorry to hear about your experience, especially with the delays caused by the appraiser. I can imagine how frustrating it must have been to deal with constant delays and feel like you weren’t getting clear answers along the way. That’s not the level of service we aim to provide, and I appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

We’ll be looking into your appraisal process to see how we can help avoid similar delays in the future. While Veterans United doesn’t have direct control over third-party providers, we know how important it is to work together to find solutions and keep the process moving for you. The appraisal process is managed directly by the Department of Veterans Affairs, and we understand how stressful it can be when unexpected delays pop up.
