Predatory lending at its best
I greatly appreciate the entire team helping us get the home of our dreams. Everything happened a lot faster than we thought it was going to go (which was a very good thing for us). The entire team made this such a smooth experience for a first time homebuyer who didn't know much of anything regarding buying a home. Thank you for everything!
At first, we were very apprehensive about applying for a refinance with an internet company. After we committed, we soon found out the process was quite easy. All the documents were sent via portal. At closing, the notary came to our house . This was especially helpful during this pandemic.
My Veterans Unitied Home Loan team made everything super easy, super fast and not stressful at all. Everyone had answers and gave perfect explanation on the things I needed to take care of.

I would recommend Veterans United to anyone wanting to get a refinance with Ryan and Derick were great to work with and got the job done in a very professional manner.
I only remark that I would not recommend Veterans United is that there were better options with local lenders that I did not take. I was not impressed with the outsourcing of insurance information and floodplain survey information. That is not the loan teams' fault in any way. I was only disappointed that the information was erroneous, and the Veterans United insurance plans were astronomically more expensive that other insurance options that offer similar coverage. There were also lapses of communication regarding outstanding loan requirements leading to a timeline shift in the closing.
This entire process was so much easier than it could have been had it not been for this group of people that came together just for me!
