I recommend Veterans United to anyone wanting to purchase a house. I had a great experience with Rusty Burney from beginning to end. It took me over a year to find the perfect house and Rusty kept in touch with me and resubmitted my paperwork to keep me in an active status while I was house shopping. I could not have asked for more or better service. I was pleasantly surprised that my loan is with Veterans United and not sold to another mortgage company. We had not purchased an existing home in 25 years; our last home was built and there is a big difference. Also, times and rules have changed and I cannot say enough about how the combination of technology and people made us feel as if VU was with use every step of the day. There was give and take across the board and we are so very happy with our new home, which was purchased as our retirement home, we are grateful and thankful. Will recommend you to anyone who asks. David and his team are amazing. They are very understanding and David got us the best rate he could even though the national average is not ideal right now. Communication was terrible with our loan officer. It would day several days to get a response, whether it was text, email or phone call. Our realtor and title agent also had trouble getting ahold of our loan officer. Once we got Jared to help with the loan, it was better.
