Jacob would never answer the phone. Seth was playing the blame game. The underwriters are slow and ridiculous. Me and my agent found them to be a constant headache. I was able to talk with Seth’s supervisor as he told me he was the manager and I could not go above him.
As a vet, I could use any organization to provide me with my VA loan but I've chosen veteran's united for 4 house loans over the years. I will use noone else. Professional, caring, and extremely competent are words I would use to describe the team.
Veterans United could not make it any easier to buy a home or refinance. We have done both in the past year and have really appreciated their help and enjoyed working with them. Keep in mind you have to be willing to do the work! Get your ducks in a row and be realistic about your home buying expectations. Respond to emails and upload requested documents in a timely fashion and things will go smoothly. You can't go wrong with Veterans United!!
This was our second experience buying a home with the help of Veterans United and the second time we were blown away with amazing customer service! Every one involved was extremely knowledgable and professional. If we had questions, they had answers! If there were any issues or errors from our side of things, the Veterans United team found them and made things right and then notified us with every single update/change. There was zero guidance on the closing process. As soon as an offer was made all urgency left the team because they knew we would finance with VU. Zero follow up on payment schedules other than pawning our mortgage payment to another company. Avoid VU and save the headache.
