Veterans United ranks highest of the several lenders I've used in the past ten years. They are responsive, thorough, and made our home buying experience very easy.
The biggest concern I had has nothing to do with Jermaine and his team. It is with the underwriters. Just when I thought I had everything uploaded, I would get another notice stating I need so and so. Then when I sent it, another notice stating I need so and so.Closing was delayed by 3 days which cost us $400 plus to stay at a hotel extra days.With all that said, the underwriters need to understand the client, then make sure the ask for all the documents needed instead, one document here, one document there, and so on.

The whole in house team did a great job, they were able to handle my questions and request in a timely manner. They also gave me updates via email and text message which was very helpful. Would recommend mend hands down.

If you are a veteran and considering whether or not to buy a home now, it is the time and Veterans United is the source. They provided all the help this old soldier needed when starting the lending process, then was able to connect me to an outstanding real estate agent. The home I picked is lovely and closing was a breeze. Anyone else who goes through the process and stays within the guidelines will get lots of help. I particularly enjoyed some of the videos on the website which helped during the various stages of the process, especially when it came to closing. These people will work with you and make it work for you.
